Key Updates for July
1. Improved File Handling
Flow Actions: File size restrictions have been adjusted to support larger files without causing upload errors.
Inbox Fixes: Issues with file uploads in the inbox have been resolved, ensuring smoother attachment handling.
These updates make it easier to work with larger files such as high-resolution images for marketing campaigns, videos for customer tutorials, or detailed reports for team collaboration, reducing interruptions caused by upload limits.
2. Contact Management Enhancements
Contact Merging: You can now merge up to 5 contacts in one action, even if they include multiple phone numbers. This is a significant improvement for consolidating duplicate entries and keeping your contact list organized.
Alternate Contact UX: The user interface for managing alternate contacts has been refined, allowing for quicker updates and more intuitive navigation.
These changes streamline how you manage contacts. For example, merging duplicate entries for a customer with multiple phone numbers ensures your database remains accurate and up-to-date, saving time for businesses by reducing manual data cleanup and simplifying customer profiles.
3. Segment & Import Fixes
Fixed an issue where tags caused errors during contact imports, ensuring a smoother import process.
Resolved dynamic segment errors that occurred when applying tag filters, making dynamic segmentation more reliable.
Corrected the search functionality within segments during new campaign setups, enabling accurate filtering and selection.
These fixes enhance your ability to create and use segments without obstacles. For instance, applying tag filters now works seamlessly, allowing you to target customers for promotional campaigns, such as special discounts for loyal buyers or tailored offers for new leads, based on specific preferences or actions.
WhatsApp Template Improvements
1. Editing Support with Alerts
You can now edit WhatsApp templates directly in the system, but with alerts to guide you when changes are made within WhatsApp’s 240-hour restriction window. This ensures compliance while giving you more control.
2. Template Phone Number Fixes
Fixed bugs related to adding or editing templates with phone numbers, providing a more seamless experience.
These improvements make it easier to manage WhatsApp templates. For example, editing a template to include updated phone numbers or compliance adjustments ensures compliance with WhatsApp’s rules and reduces delays in communication, thanks to clear alerts that guide you through the process.
Campaign Reporting & Validation
1. Opt-Out Count in Campaign Reports
Campaign reports now show how many users have opted out, offering better insights into audience engagement and retention.
2. Improved Phone Number Validation
Numbers containing alphabets are now automatically filtered out, ensuring your messaging campaigns are delivered accurately to valid contacts.
These enhancements provide cleaner data and clearer metrics. For instance, filtering out invalid phone numbers containing alphabets ensures your messages reach only valid recipients, improving campaign accuracy.
General Settings & Fixes
Office Hours Update: The office hours setting has been moved outside the auto-reply toggle for easier access and configuration.
Bug Fixes: Multiple bugs and stability issues have been addressed to improve overall system performance.
